Rango has been patiently waiting for his forever home since August, and we can’t believe this little gem keeps getting overlooked! A 10-pound Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix with the heart of a lion and the soul of a cuddlebug, Rango is the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy couch potato.

This curious and clever little guy loves to explore—whether he’s trotting along on walks, chasing squirrels, or proudly parading around with his favorite squeaky toy. He’s smart, eager to learn (especially when treats are involved!), and already house-trained and crate-trained.

Rango forms deep bonds with the people he trusts and never forgets a friend. He always greets his favorite volunteers at adoption events with a happy wag of his tail and a sweet little kiss. It’s just one of the many ways he shows how big his heart really is.
